Happy Friday! It’s been a busy week around here at SYDCON. Lot’s of projects, hiring new staff and churning out code. The weather finally felt like summer in Chicago, we finally hit 90 degrees! And then there’s today, gloomy and rainy! Yeah well that’s Chicago weather for you.
In sports news, my Blackhawks are trying to kill me I think. Thankfully the series is tied 2-2 with game 5 in Tampa tomorrow. Man is this a tight series or what? At least so far it’s not dirty, just two talented teams duking it out for the cup. And, the Cubbies are still doing well, man could this be the year? Around Chicago though, it’s all about the Blackhawks. The Art Institute lions are all decked out in Hawks gear. The ferris wheel at Navy Pier, yep supporting the Blackhawks too! One City, One Goal!
For this weeks edition of “IT Thing of the week” we have Muppets, giant tortoise, country rap, Kid President and Apple. Are you ready, because here we go…
1. The Muppets. Just have some fun watching the Muppets Dr. Teeth and the Electrical Mayhem band perform “Shimmy Shimmy Ya”. Who doenst love the Muppets?
2. Giant Tortoise goes for walks. Bon-Chan, a 150 lb tortoise loves to go for walks around town with his owner, just like a dog!
3. Country stars tackle Fresh Prince. At the CMT Awards, some Country stars were put on the spot and asked to rap the Fresh Prince of Bel Air! Ha! At least Luke Bryan blamed the whiskey for his stumbles.
3. Kid President. This one comes from our oldest. The Kid President suggests 20 things we should all say more often. He is just too darn cute, but he is spot on too!
4. Backstage at WWDC. This one comes from Dave. Take a look at some backstage adventures while prepping for the opening number at Apples 2015 WWDC (Worldwide Developers Conference).
